Peels Are Amazing and Here's Why

So, my intro to peels was through videos on YouTube in which people we pulling swathes of skin off their faces. Those chemical peels work to refine the surface of your skin. While your everyday products are digging in deep and helping all the layers of skin by nourishing and cleansing them, peels focus on reversing the appearence of wrinkels, dark spots, discoloration, ance, and so much more. Overall, it refines the texture of your skin to leave it bright and glowy.

I have not tried a chemical peel, those have to be done by dermatologists, mostly because the recovery time is about three to five days in which the skin on your face literally falls off. I don't know about you, but I can barely find time to pee so I defineitly do not have three to five days to set aside while I shed like a snake.

However, I have tried other kinds of peels. The ones I have tried are fruit enzyme peels and they d the same thing just on a much more muted level. My favorite is the Juice Beauty Green Apple Organic Peel. It smells amazing, comes out super thick so it's easy to apply a generous layer. It tingles a little bit. After fifteen minutes, I wash off with a warm cloth and my skin is tigheter, more even and the texture (I'm looking at you, forehead) is visibly and physcially softer.

Peels can be kind of scary, but they work wonders. If it's your first time I'd leave the peel on for just 10 minutes. It can be a little jarring to your skin, so if it's hurting wash it off. But they're worth the try and aren't painful by any means.
